It was great. No leakage even with intensive stirring in the reverse position. Filling cap is easy and effortless to open (no problem for arthritic hands, for example). The larger cap also unscrews very easily - no leakage. Plastic does not release chemicals. It's easy to clean. Is it durable? Well, glass is a wide-mouth, interchangeable tin can, so we'll probably meet it at the edge of the sink one day, but it's easy and inexpensive to replace. We think glass is a plus because it's easy to clean and doesn't release chemicals. We bought both this device and just the lid so we can use the separate lid on another wide mouth jar.
