Good glass jar with poor handle and lid

I purchased this product because I started making iced tea and wanted a glass that held at least 64 ounces. While this product gets the job done, the handle is not ergonomic and could hurt your hands. Most glasses have durable and comfortable handles. This product has the center of the handle hollowed out, leaving sharp plastic edges that are uncomfortable. The lid that the liquid is poured through isn't tightly sealed either, leading to a potential spillage. Overall, I'll keep this jar because

Much better than other lidded juice/beverage carafes

It was great. No leakage even with intensive stirring in the reverse position. Filling cap is easy and effortless to open (no problem for arthritic hands, for example). The larger cap also unscrews very easily - no leakage. Plastic does not release chemicals. It's easy to clean. Is it durable? Well, glass is a wide-mouth, interchangeable tin can, so we'll probably meet it at the edge of the sink one day, but it's easy and inexpensive to replace. We think glass is a plus because it's easy to…

Broke trying to make tea

I loved this pot until I poured water in it this morning to make iced tea (which I've been doing for almost 6 months since I bought it in January) and that was it. The bottom part of the jar was split and broken. It wasn't boiling water, warm enough for tea. The company didn't bother to replace it because they said their warranty doesn't cover "accidents" even though it's clearly not an accident. It should be able to withstand warm liquids, but it didn't, this is a quality issue. It's a great…

favorite mug! for eating and serving utensils

I was looking for a 2 liter glass jug for my ice cream Tea for over a year. The only one I could find was from Anchor Hocking, which you can see in the photo next to my stone stein. The Anchor Hocking jug is ok but difficult to clean, tea stains on the white rubber lid, not as easy to hold and pour as a mason's jug, and every time I pour myself a drink the tea drips into the spout as soon as I stop pour, so I have to wipe it down every time before I put it away. A clay jug is all I was looking…

Pros
  • Easy Pour: flip-top lids stay open and don't get in the way when pouring into cups or drinking from the spout and stay securely attached

Absolutely the best pitcher

When I first saw the picture. I thought, yeah, I've seen things like this before. Logically, everything looks great. As if that could be a great thing. Then I answer. And some manager somewhere has reduced all the material for production to the point where it can handle an eggshell. But NOT this one. It's built like a rock. It looks like it's made of aluminum. And it takes up so little space in the fridge. And it still holds the same 2 liters as those "big" jugs. And the pitcher itself is made…

Works great as a pitcher, but be careful of the sharp edges!

Summary: While I like the idea of a can lid with a handle, I wish the manufacturer had paid more attention to detail. The sharp-edged stylus is what I would expect from a cheap product, not one that costs double digits. Likes: - durable handle - flip-top lid stays in place when pouring - doesn't drip much when pouring - dishwasher safe - airtight Dislikes: - price increased by 25% in 2 months - sharp edges of handle lid with handle on 22. July , 2019 for $11.95. At the time of writing this…

Love it! Buy two and thank me later!

My purchases at Revain are always successful or not. I know where the vast majority of items on Revain come from, so my expectations are low from the start. I am so pleasantly surprised by this item. I bought two so I can brew one and have the other ready. i drink a lot of coffee I deducted a few stars for the taste because I just don't understand the cold beer hype. It's nice not having to brew the coffee and wait for it to cool, but for me it's either too strong or too weak. I hope if I play…
