Review on πŸ₯€ County Line Kitchen - High-Quality Glass Mason Jar Pitcher - Wide Mouth, 2 Quart, (64 oz) by Bradley Wacks

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Works great as a pitcher, but be careful of the sharp edges!

Summary: While I like the idea of a can lid with a handle, I wish the manufacturer had paid more attention to detail. The sharp-edged stylus is what I would expect from a cheap product, not one that costs double digits. Likes: - durable handle - flip-top lid stays in place when pouring - doesn't drip much when pouring - dishwasher safe - airtight Dislikes: - price increased by 25% in 2 months - sharp edges of handle lid with handle on 22. July , 2019 for $11.95. At the time of writing this review on September 24, 2019, it is $14.95. I'm not sure what caused the 25% price increase. My first guess was that maybe it's made in China, and since we're currently in a trade war with China, the company had to increase the price of the product. However, the lid seems to be made in Taiwan, so I'm not sure why. I love the idea of adding a lid with a handle to a mason jar. I make iced coffee and kefir and need airtight jugs to store in the fridge. It did the job well. I didn't feel like the handle would break from the weight of the contents inside. I like that the flip-top lid can be opened with one hand and doesn't move when pouring. I also like that it doesn't drip/spill when poured. I'm complaining about the real lid/handle part. Plastic handles are quite sharp (photo attached). You can probably cut your hand if you move it up or down too quickly. In the end I filed the edges a bit. But honestly, the manufacturer should have smoothed out those edges by heating them. Makes me doubt the company's quality control department.
