I wear this earring in a cartilage piercing. If it starts to hurt, I take it off. However, it is very difficult to get out of an inflamed piercing. But that also makes it great for keeping it from falling out. Overall I love these earrings! To update. After realizing how easy they were to open, they turned out to be perfect! I love them for my cartilage piercing!
