These blankets REQ. They are not sealed in the storage facilities where Revain keeps them. Moisture penetrates and mold forms. I bought them to build a singing booth for musical purposes. They work great as packing blankets and "acoustic blankets". But you'll save yourself a headache if you just buy them from Home Depot or somewhere else where you can smell them first. I spent about $5 more on a blanket at Home Depot and they smelled nice. I sprayed my Revain blankets with vodka, white vinegar, and commercial products. I have hand steamed them, kept them in the freezer for 24 hours and left them in direct sunlight all day. All in all there is no reason for you to buy these blankets here and I sincerely hope you don't. Whether you use them for motion or audio like I did, save yourself the headache, put on your mask and wait in line at Home Depot.
