I needed a way to fit a standard single DIN marine radio into the large hole that was left in the dash when I removed the front mounted Kenwood KMR-300 marine radio. Because the radio is physically mounted in this splash guard, it provides an easy way to mount the radio and the housing fits perfectly into the large hole in the dash. The only reason for four stars for "Easy to Install" was that I had to spend about an hour with a saw and dremel to make room for the lid hinges and space above the radio to flip the lid down. The end result is a brand new radio that comes complete with a fender that looks like it was factory fitted. That lid that retracts into the body is MUCH better than a pop-up fender.
