incredibly quiet turntable. The mass of the turntable is high enough to avoid feedback from the speaker. The tone looks ordinary but looks are deceiving, the tonearm works great and is better than the 10x more expensive tonearm. I highly recommend this player. I use a Soundsmith DMS cassette in this turntable and its signal to noise ratio is superior to the best from a vinyl cutter.
