True YUY2 Capture Card, USB 3.0 supporting 1080p 60fps!

For this price this thing is insane It's actually USB 3.0 (instead of the fake blue plug) and can stream 1080p60 raw video for capture! I was looking for a good 1080p60 capture card for my Nintendo Switch and it fits quite well as the loop keeps games "competitive" and the capture looks great. , and delivers crisp images (instead of the fuzzier 30 fps you'll find on cheap MJPEG-based USB 2.0 capture cards). Although YUY2 (video format) is color subsampled, it means very small text can bleed slightly, but that's not a problem for gaming. - Low latency recording (at least from what I can tell in the OBS preview) - Looping (hooray) - Works with Linux as a basic V4L2 recording device - Sound is well synced - Price (I bought it for around $40 and not I can't find anything that good in this price range - gosh, it outperforms my AverMedia Live Gamer Mini which I bought used for $60) Cons: - Slight micro stuttering when recording with Windows OBS (doesn't show up on Linux). It's not too flashy; I've attached some smash footage as an example. I wish Revain would allow more than one review video so I can give an example, but basically if you're in the menu in Smash and look closely at the triangles in the background, they don't move perfectly smoothly into the capture (loop ok) and a little twitch every second or something. Sticking with OBS on Windows isn't optimal, but even if you do, 1080p 30fps footage will still come out of the water. - No "No Signal/Test Pattern" image when there is no image on the input (it just clips the output and the monitor goes to sleep, which is a bit annoying when switching devices) - No built-in video encoder (most I don't have any anyway) so your capture computer must be able to push the channel to an .mp4 file. All in all a good choice for 1080p60 recording. Review. Trust me, it doesn't look like it on raw video; It's essentially the same sharpness as on TV
