This is an exceptional tripod and ball head, especially for the money. Offers an excellent balance of foot size, weight and strength while maintaining a very comfortable fit. The lack of a built-in center speaker (which can be purchased separately, please note) is a positive for me, as the 'folded' size is much more compact and works with flip-up screens on DSLR/MFT these days on the chest. the height is easy. The carbon legs and leg locks are very good medium size, very good quality and durable. I like the A-10R ball head and use it with an L-Bracket where the head swivel feature seems great allowing for both a coarse (lower) collar ring and fine (upper) ring on the ball adjustment with a great carrying capacity for Full frame a DSLR and a powerful lens like the Sigma 14-24. The tripod easily slips into a small travel bag, especially when you remove the ball head, it's very light and sleek. I've looked at a number of other tripods in this price range and to be honest none of them could compare (in terms of cost) to alternatives like Mefoto, Manfrotto, Benro and even other Sirui tripods in my opinion.
