Review on πŸ’½ Corsair Flash Survivor Stealth 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive - Black (CMFSS3B-64GB) by Steve Linquist

2 broken flash drives in 6 months

I was looking for a flash drive that could take the beating. I wanted something that would withstand an accidental fall, something that could be machine washed if left in my bag, and something that would last a long time. That was it! I bought my first Survivor 5 years ago and have never had a problem with it. The only reason I bought another one was because it was 5 years old and I thought it would be good to replace it so I can be sure my flash drive will last another 5 years with no problems. Unfortunately it isn't. a business. I received my new Survivor and it worked for 2 days. After formatting I copied all my old files to it and after 2 days it stopped working. I thought I was very lucky that after 2 days it just stopped working. I hooked it up to my computer and every computer I've used said it was an error with my flash drive. I even tried reformatting it but it still didn't work. I called Corsair and they exchanged the stick for a new one. Fast forward 6 months and my replacement flash drive failed. I plugged it into my computer and it works for about 1 minute. I browse directories and then wait. Windows tells me the flash drive is not responding. After a minute or two, the computer doesn't see anything on the flash drive. I was lucky enough to get some important documents off my flash drive, but I can't trust it enough to use it anymore.
