Above all, the thing is heavy! The package weight is about 115 pounds. So use a cart or two people to carry it inside. My box got damaged somewhere in transit, but these people know how to protect the contents. The actual parts of the table are surrounded by smooth chipboard (marked as packaging only) and styrofoam. Parts are also individually wrapped. All posted before launch. It wasn't difficult to assemble, but it took a long time. It took me about 3.5 hours to assemble. Having help would shorten the time. It's a little heavy as it's quite large, not very deep and rests on 4 legs, but they include 2 straps and plastic wall anchors/screws to mount it to the wall if you wish. All in all, this is a good table.
