This desk is made of durable wood with chipboard backing and solid drawer/door mechanisms. It took 3 hours to assemble with one person, but all you need is a Phillips screwdriver. GREAT find!

I like this table and its looks. The way you assemble it will never break. The downside is that there were scratches on the boards upon arrival. The tree looks cheap for the price. It's definitely worth the price, but it's a functional table.

Box arrived damaged. While most pieces were intact, some were damaged. Most disappointing was that halfway through the build it was discovered that one of the support pieces was the wrong size and didn't fit properly. Since it took several hours to assemble, I was too far away to put everything back in the box and send it back, otherwise I would have done it.

We needed something to organize the overflowing documentation before the stacks overwhelmed and buried us, and wallah, here it is. Hubby put it together; said instructions were great including all parts + spares well packaged no damage. Takes a lot of time but is manageable. I am very happy with the result, I recommend. Now we just need someone to organize!

Above all, the thing is heavy! The package weight is about 115 pounds. So use a cart or two people to carry it inside. My box got damaged somewhere in transit, but these people know how to protect the contents. The actual parts of the table are surrounded by smooth chipboard (marked as packaging only) and styrofoam. I am very disappointed in this table. I've been watching it for months trying to find something else that fits my room as well but nothing quite fits.
