I bought this dress for my 3 year old to hang out in the garden. She loves to wear fancy dresses, but she also loves to get dirty. The look and price of this dress seemed to fit the bill. I'm not worried about her ruining her expensive princess dresses. It's cute - just as cute if not cuter personally. She's obsessed with it! The fabric is nice too. SIZE: My 3 year old is large for her age and I'm sorry I didn't fit. I would say the size is right and a bit forgiving. My daughter wears 5T so I ordered 4-5. There was a 4T sticker on the box and I would say it fits about 4T.
