This item was purchased to enable OTA TV for my home devices and TVs. Many of them are equipped with Roku or have added Roku. Well, for Roku, the hdhomerun app is a flop. It keeps randomly stopping playback and returning to the main hdhomerun channel screen. No pixelation or signal degradation, just stop playing. It doesn't matter if the Roku device is new or old. On a fire stick it plays well for me and never falls. The same goes for my computer, which never crashes. So it's not an antenna or signal problem in my house. There are bugs in their Roku app. I'm going to bring this back as I've been using Roku for many years with no issues and have no plans to switch to another streaming device just for a single app issue. I'll give Tablo a try as I heard their app is much more polished and reliable.
