We have a full set of All-Clad and need to add a few more pieces. They are expensive! So why pay such a high price? Because without exception, there is no one who is better. These pots and pans are made to last, wear out last and then not at all. The lower part never deforms, so it always heats up evenly, it doesn't wobble on the burner, food doesn't flow to the edge. Cleaning is not difficult. Because it is stainless steel, the surface is very smooth and hard. If something gets stuck, I just pour water and liquid soap into a saucepan and boil for 5 minutes. Come out soon. Yes, they are expensive initially, but when you calculate how many years they last, the cost per year will be small. I honestly believe these pots and pans will stay in the family long after I die, they will be passed down to my daughter and maybe later to her. This makes them very cheap.
