Typical All Clad quality

Very good item that goes well with my D-3 set. Nothing particularly remarkable about it other than the usual high quality and a steamer insert, which allows this pan to fulfill the dual function of a Pentola and a steamer.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • fits

Too heavy for old people

I love to cook and keep my gear up to date. I knew it would be a good buy but found I could barely lift the pot when pouring water. The pot itself is heavy with water, it's almost impossible to lift it. I don't know if stainless steel is supposed to be that heavy.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Some little things

Fantastic kitchen accessory

I used this on our lobster and corn. It worked great. Not only that, it's also a beautiful piece to sit on the hearth. Stainless steel cuts a fine figure in the kitchen when cooking. I love that it has two baskets. You can cook lobster downstairs and corn at the bus stop!

I LOVE THIS PIECE.

I bought these a few months ago when we bought a new induction hob. It's such great quality. I feel special every time I put one of these pots on the stove. They conduct heat very well, are beautiful and easy to clean. I would buy them again in a heartbeat. I've had other brands, even fake ones (they dent easily). I wish I had invested these years ago.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • For seniors

All-Clad in name only

As far as I can tell this is All-Clad in name only because it's made in China and doesn't use standard All-Clad methods . All-Clad doesn't even list/mention this model on their website. This should be fine for a pot as you don't need any special properties like heat retention, heat control etc for a pot as the water is a predictable/maintained/controlled temperature. So the All-Clad name to me just means the material is trustworthy (i.e. cheaper items may qualify for a certain metal but…

The best pot I have ever had and I use it every week.

I love All Clad and I love this pot! It's a good thick caliber and it does a great job with chicken broth. I make homemade broth once a week and use it in soup and brown rice. The steam basket and pasta insert are also very good. I've read that people were unhappy with how light this pot was. I will tell you that this is the ideal weight and fully manageable as well. You have to keep in mind that 10 liters weighs about 20, plus the weight of the pot. I say 10 liters because you're not going to…

not better suited for cookware sets

We have a full set of All-Clad and need to add a few more pieces. They are expensive! So why pay such a high price? Because without exception, there is no one who is better. These pots and pans are made to last, wear out last and then not at all. The lower part never deforms, so it always heats up evenly, it doesn't wobble on the burner, food doesn't flow to the edge. Cleaning is not difficult. Because it is stainless steel, the surface is very smooth and hard. If something gets stuck, I just…

Pros
  • Not only useful for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Low maintainability
