Totally bad product. I read conflicting reviews but decided to purchase anyway. I've used it about 5 times and after a 3500 mile ride I tried to remove the hitch and the lock acted like the key code was wrong, the key wouldn't turn at all. My first thought was that it would be very difficult to cut. Then I noticed that the pin seemed to have more free play than usual. I took a screwdriver to see if I could take it apart and the end of the lock just came loose. So I had a complete failure of the product. I wonder when that happened on my trip, and I don't want to imagine what would have happened if the pen had fallen out while cruising the freeway at 65 mph. . Not only would my RV be damaged but my new truck would also be damaged and if someone was right behind me I can't imagine what would happen to them. It's garbage. There are some items available for sale online but for everyone's safety please don't try to save a few bucks like I did on something very important.
