Very Scratchy: Duvet Cover Sets

I bought this because the bedding stays cool and the color matches the rest of my bedding. It was so scratchy when I first got it, but after reading the reviews I decided to squeeze and wash it a few times. Well the washing didn't seem to work. Even the rope dried it, and I searched the Internet for ways to make the fabric softer. I even bought and tried fabric softener but nothing helped. I can't lie shirtless on him for more than a minute without feeling uncomfortable. Unfortunately I'm just out of the return window so I'm out of luck. If you have sensitive skin, you should definitely stay away from it.
