This was exactly what I was looking for to convert my unbreakable nylon halter into a tearaway halter! It was the perfect size and thickness - not too soft, but soft enough that I could leave a halter on my horse when he went out to pasture and not have to worry about it snagging on anything. Brass clasps can be a little tricky to tighten (they screw in, but there's only smooth metal on either side so it's hard to get a hold of) and you'll need to check them regularly to make sure they're still tight. or they fall off and you roam the field looking for a tiny metal screw. Nevertheless, I can only recommend it and will buy it again in the future.
