Nail files better suited for artificial nails. I bought files that were 100 grit on one side and 180 grit on the other. 100 Grit is very gritty and didn't work well on my natural nails because they were too rough. However, they work well for artificial/acrylic nails and toenails. They are also excellent as grinding tools. The 180 grit side is slightly softer but still quite rough. My nails were too thin for these files but I think they would work well for people with thicker nails or maybe toenails. You get 10 for $8 so I think it's a good deal. They're not overly expensive, so you don't have to worry about using them freely and throwing them away when they're no longer usable. However, they are quite sturdy and I think they will last you for a while. In general, nail files are very beneficial if you use them for their intended purpose.
