This tweeter can be a bit shrill, but a good EQ can take the edge off. The rest of the sound is pretty good. The price is reasonable for the sound quality you get. I used a good quality crossover in my setup so it might improve the sound. It's not easy to install, so I'd give it an overall rating of 3. The terminals for the speaker cables protrude, which affects the installation. Combined with a very large magnet (which is good) it's difficult to install, cut a hole for it etc. Basically you need to cut two slots for the wire clamps. Be sure to make them as deep as necessary. If you cut the slots too deep you will have cosmetic issues with the finished appearance of the installation. What a visible hole! Nevertheless, I have bought four of these tweeters and I am satisfied with the product.
