Review on DEWENWILS Protector Extension Industrial 1440Joules by Gus Gutierrez

I bought this because it has a UL rating but I decided to disassemble it anyway. The insides of it are absolutely disgraceful. The offset ground wire was pushed through the plastic case into the sharp edge of the guide on the hot side. The hot rails are connected by a curved clip that barely touches the solder pad on the board. On the three jack side, unused jacks are left uninsulated even though the contacts are in close proximity. The boards are tar stained and even cover the anti-tracking cutouts, rendering them unusable (and flammable), and solder beads almost cover adjacent pads. This is a dangerous, terrible product.
