I bought these for my 8 year old son because he wants tight shirtless briefs because he gets hot when he sleeps in a shirt. I was very happy when they showed up. They are nice, thick and soft and appear to be of very good quality. He loves them and can't wait to put them on. I bought size 8-10. My son is about average height for his age but very thin. They are long, which would be correct considering there are 8-10 of them. I think he will be able to wear them when he is 10 years old. The narrower bottom of the pants keeps them at the ankles so he can walk in them and not trip over them. Of course his waist is quite large considering he is 8 years old and very skinny but he has a drawstring waist and I just pulled and tied it tight and it holds up well. So yes they are a bit big for a skinny 8 year old but that's to be expected given the size 8-10. I'm glad he gets to wear them for a few years and he thinks they're comfortable and cozy! I think it's a great value!
