Please do not buy these for your child. My 4.5 year old daughter wore them for several hours and they left scars on both ears that dug into the skin too much. They glowed red. Healing takes several days. It hurt when I took her off, she cried her eyes out. It's easy for the manufacturer to make them more comfortable - just add a rubber pad on the front and back. :/
