This scarf is made from 100% acrylic. However, it is woven in a way that gives the appearance of being made from natural fibers. He's super soft. It's not very thick, but it can be folded in half. It seems warm, although we haven't had any really cold weather to put it to the test. The colored stripes are light colored. I especially like the bright raspberry red. This scarf can be worn with dull heavy winter jackets.
