
I've only used one splitter so far, I'll try to upgrade when I get to the part where I need to use a crank puller. The splitter worked on my 1977 Husqvarna so I think it will work on most vertically split engines. A crank puller will also work from what I've seen, but you MAY need to make a small adapter. It's nice to be able to disassemble the engine the "right" way and not with a hammer and chisel.
