Failed to load media. So this is a great replacement for gas bottle spouts. The details are well done. People complained that the quality was rubbish. It's not like this. The spout was curved but nice and sturdy to make them go back to their original shape. The o-ring around the base was pliable and held up well. The base of the spout is exactly the same size as the old "safety" nozzle I replaced it with. I put one of these on a Blitz container, one on a Midwest container, and one on a TSG container. All of them have a standard size spout. If you have one of those really useless no-spill safety canisters with a push button and a 90 degree solid cap spout, these replacement parts won't work. Nothing fits in there. It has a unique size that makes it even more useless as no standard devices you will find in the world will fit on it. You wasted your money. But back to those interchangeable spouts. The included caps have a thin thread. All my jars are made of chunky yarn. I simply reused the old caps with these new grommets. Fits perfectly. No leaks. The lids fit perfectly on the spouts. I can grab an empty jar by the lid and it won't tear off the spout. Safe landing. When you turn the spouts into a storage container, the lid fits snugly on the base and won't leak. The vent plugs are ½" and snap in. Everything is fine. Two thumbs up for these substitutions.
