This really goes with the Champion Dual Fuel 2500 Generator, Model 200961. This picture of the dipstick and the nasty thing attached to it was taken after the generators had been off for 5 hours. As mentioned in another review, a flat rubber washer is included instead of the o-ring that this alternator requires. Since this part is probably also suitable for other style generators, I can already see how much more versatile it is. It technically works for this alternator, but luckily you can simply replace that washer with an o-ring and the problem is solved.
