Buyer be careful with cycling

After a very convincing review from this handsome dad at the helm and my own research I was ready to give it a try. The design has potential, but in the end it's shockingly cheaply made - it was flimsy, came with missing nuts and bolts, a seat cushion inlaid with tape, and a bottom "lever" (read: pin) that secures the seat. The bar didn't work. I am grateful that returning the product will be so easy. Here are some things I would like to know: - After fitting a saddle, there may not be any space left in front of your own bike saddle. This means staying in your seat when you stop (which is impossible at 5ft 10m) while keeping the bike level for the child. It was very tight for me. Children's footpegs can hit the fork or shock absorbers of the bicycle. This further limits your mobility and freedom of movement. The material is thin plastic. When you screw in the screws you can actually see the polymer in the plastic dissolving and turning white. It's overpriced, and it sucks to spend that kind of money on something you'll outgrow quickly. I don't quite understand how this place is legally sold in the old US, it seemed so unreal when everything was set up. Found a half price Bell rear seat, same age group. It is significantly stronger and the child can still use it for a few years and tilt their head back if they want to sleep while driving.
