Well-made gear is often easy to use, and this MPPT is no exception. Fairly well-documented guides (with an editor actually reviewing the material), no frills or much hassle to install. This MPPT charger couldn't be easier to connect. I connected the device to my battery first, which then automatically adjusted to my 48v configuration and then connected to the panel pack. I downloaded the Android app, connected the device and did some tweaking to set the charging current and haven't had to fiddle with anything since. The app provides useful information about battery health and state of charge, as well as how much power was used to charge the system. It would be nice if the system informed you of the *potential* energy available from your system during the day. If you "add" earlier in the day, how much is "lost" or not gained by the panels?
