Zoeller pumps are the best drain pumps on the market. However, that doesn't mean they're good pumps, just that they aren't as bad as some of the others. With constant use, they fail after 2-3 years. The pumps are date stamped and come with a 3 year guarantee. If you want to claim the warranty, buy from a local store and keep your receipt. If you decide to buy this pump online, you may not receive it very quickly or at all. These are heavy units and they are shipped by the cheapest route, meaning you only have a 50/50 chance of getting them. If you need it urgently, please buy it elsewhere. I have 5 sump pumps in use all the time. All but one are Zoeller pumps, ironically this pump was intended to replace a failed pump from another manufacturer. (Unfortunately I did not receive this batch, although I have received it through Revain in the past). I always keep at least 2 pieces ready for spare parts. I change a pump at least every 6 months to a year. Any pump that is vital to keeping you big and dry needs to be replaced every 3 years or there will be an emergency. Buy Zoeller, just don't expect much.
