I usually only wear New Balance shoes because of the high quality and good support. That's why I was surprised and disappointed when I first wore this pair. There was no support. I pulled out the insole only to find a flat, thin piece of cheap foam with no arch support. All other NB pairs I had much better deposits. After buying a new pair of athletic insoles (as you'd expect from running shoes) they fit perfectly and now give me the support I've come to expect from NB. However, the price of adding an insole after the sale means they weren't the decent deal I thought I was getting.
