Nice cars. Terrible implementation

I have two of these processors for myself and bought his wife. Overall, it's smooth, responsive, and generally reliable. The best part is the sound quality. Phenomenal for a device of this size. However, this is one of the worst pieces of tech I've ever held in my hands. Two screws under the back pad create a Faraday cage that paralyzes the WLAN. Remove them and everything will work. My only other complaint is the lack of dock support. I have a Lenovo USB-C Thunderbolt 3 Dock from a ThinkPad that has been working fine for over a year. Since switching to the Yoga 9i, I've had nothing but blue screen and monitor blackout issues that require regular power cycles to recover. I've tried updated drivers from Lenovo and Intel. Nothing solves the problem. I tried reinstalling Windows, which led to my final complaint. The BIOS does not support bootable USB media formatted with a system other than Fat32. Given that Microsoft creates installation discs with files larger than 4GB, this is unacceptable. Unless you like creating your own installer .wim files with a smaller file size, don't expect it to be easy for you to install any operating system other than Windows' built-in "reboot" option on this model. Finally, I like this thing. but every time I run into one of these problems, I want to throw it in the trash.
