I've never had a pair of DC running shoes before but I'm so glad I have them now. They are very comfortable and look great. I used to wear Vans but my legs hurt in them for a long time. I was hoping they would be different from Vans and yes they are actually completely superior to Vans. I can wear them all day and my feet feel great. These shoes have a cushioned sole which makes them more comfortable than Vans lol. You definitely need to use all 4 grommets (holes for the laces), 3 of which are already tied, but your foot will just slip out of the shoe. Incidentally, the supplied tip is long enough to go through all 4 eyelets. I chose the black/white/gold color because the material used is durable. I dig these shoes and they really exceeded my expectations.
