Stylish and Durable: DC Men's Trase TX SE Skate Shoe for Enhanced Performance Review

Couldn't fault it. I bought both pairs for a family member for Christmas. I wish there were more colors but the ones I bought are just beautiful. The fit was perfect as his feet are size 12. He tried them on, went in and picked up a pair to wear. The special award at the time made it even better.

The only reason I give this 4 stars is that the shoes are a bit small in the toe area. I even have bumps on both feet and otherwise they fit great. They are neither too narrow nor too small, just not high enough in the toe area. It took me a while to stretch them out so it didn't feel like my toes were being stepped on all the time.

I love these shoes. I started longboarding last summer. Once I got comfortable with the board I decided I needed a pair of skateboards because my other shoes were tearing from learning. Reviews, I'm half a size larger than the standard size I wear and they fit perfectly. The traction with these shoes gives me good control when braking with my feet. They are stylish too.

I knew the DC was a bit slow. For example at Converse I wear a 10 but at DC I thought a 10.5 would be good for this shoe. Turns out I probably should have ordered 11. They were super tight for the first week BUT after breaking them in (wearing them for a few hours every day) they are great and I love these shoes. I have to say I have wide feet so they are very snug. So if you are like me I would choose size 11 if you have wide feet. I love the style and the shoes more than anything!

I bought these shoes because I was disappointed with the durability of my regular Vans Authentic/Canvas. These shoes were comfortable enough for me to wear during my vacation week when I ran over 15 miles daily. Although slightly larger than expected, these shoes exceeded my expectations for comfort and durability. The only reason I'm giving them 4/5 is because DC is a little disproportionate to their size. I've never had a pair of DC running shoes before but I'm so glad I have them now. They are very comfortable and look great. I used to wear Vans but my legs hurt in them for a long time. I was hoping they would be different from Vans and yes they are actually completely superior to Vans. I can wear them all day and my feet feel great.
