The oil pressure gauge in my 2006 Suburban suddenly started reading 80psi at start up. A little research showed that this part was a common culprit, and it was for me. do yourself a favor See how it's changed on YouTube. While it's easy to replace, it's definitely not that easy to achieve. Make sure you have the necessary tools. Large set of deep sockets (1 1/16" worked for me), required 4" extension. much longer and it might not work, I also used a universal joint to give me some extra length and some flexibility as the area is hard to reach. The heads I had were 1/2" and they worked fine. All in all it took about half an hour to do the job. The oil pressure sensor is working normally again. I hope I don't have to do that again, but if so, I know this part fits and works so I would buy it again.
