My Harman Kardon Soundstick I which I always use recently started buzzing and when I touched the plug next to the computer it buzzed louder and popped loudly. The speakers are out of order. After researching on the internet I read somewhere that the problem could be the grounding of the existing plug. So I cut the connector off the wires and basically connected it to the cable that went to the subwoofer/speakers. Left red, right white and the screen on the floor. It worked wonders and now nothing buzzes anymore. Everything is all right again. Life is good.
