Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Drew Shoes Surge Walking Shoe: Unmatched Comfort and Support for Every Step by Brad Lovro

Good with flaws

I have a full leather version, overall it's a good pair of shoes - here are the details: Pros: 1- Really deep and you can put your inserts/cups into inserts and heel cup, and the shoe is still wearable). 2- High quality material and leather, looks like it will hold up well and comfortable to wear. Cons: 1- Not exactly a walking shoe as Drew suggests. - very heavy (probably 3 to 4 times the weight of your regular running shoes at 4.4lbs a pair!). 2- Again not suitable for walking - if you are a runner or walker you know that a good shoe flexes in the center of the ball of your foot - this is not the case, the outsole is too stiff and almost stops. When the shoe flexes, it is more comfortable for your wheel. These are casual shoes and not really athletic shoes. 3- Seems to be a design flaw - I'm a size 4E wide - and all shoes (heel-toe) are wide - my heel cups move like crazy, I have to put some glue in them to keep them in place while they're in stay in my other shoes. If you have wide feet, you know your heels aren't that wide. Width is approximately midfoot to toe. 4- Wrong size! They are huge for the size - I usually wear a 11.5-12, wide - I ordered them a size 12 and I think a size 13-14 would fit here! - If I order this again, I'll probably get a 10.5.

Pros
  • Hardened steel toe box
Cons
  • No performance
