I am delighted that I have ordered a set of watercolor pencils from Norberg & Linden. It has a wide variety of colors, making it a great palette to work with. I really like using watercolor pencils because they are very versatile. The bag is great for storage between uses. They can be conveniently transported in a pencil case. I can dampen the paper before or after using the pens. I can draw very fine lines with it and let them dry. They work great with pans or whistles for the layering technique. I also use them to paint small details on sealed polyurethane that I can't do with a single brush. It should be noted that the pigment concentration is not very strong. I believe this is a compromise for color variety to get an economical set. This is a suitable set for beginners and hobbyists. I would not recommend it for undergraduate students or for commissioned work. This would be the perfect gift for anyone interested in artistic pursuits, either for themselves or for others.
