Okay, I've never owned or used a bidet. So I can't say I LOVE it just yet. I mean - it will take some time to get used to. A cool jet of water is quite a stark contrast to toilet paper. Is it too strong? Not strong enough? How should I know? I will say some kind of towel is needed - the extra water on my bum is more than a square or two of toilet paper can hold. It will probably be fairly clear water, but I haven't really gotten to the bottom of it yet. This is the beginning of the adventure! The GenieBidet product itself appears to be well made, with quality parts. Adding detail to a toilet means adding cracks and gaps for more cleanliness, but Boss decided this model had the cleanest lines to minimize that annoyance. But the installation was an easy task. We have a round slow closing toilet seat from Sanilo that is about a year old and goes great with the new Genie bidet; Remove the seat, install the bidet head, replace the seat, connect the plumbing. It took five minutes. I'm 183 cm tall, weigh 82 kg and have an 86 cm waist (so you can get an idea of the size). On a standard round toilet seat, if I sit on the seat with good upright posture, the bidet will give me a good hosing down when I'm right in the middle of the seat opening. But that leaves little room at the front edge of the toilet seat for the boy's dangling parts. This isn't a downside to the GenieBidet - I've already noticed that the hole in the Sanilo's seat seems small - for reference I measure it at 9 1/2 inches (24cm) front to back. I regret not going for an oval toilet base and then an oval lid. Well, I'll be patient for now. If I upgrade, I can at least install GenieBidet on a new toilet. Update after a few months: This is a great device. I haven't used toilet paper in months. I keep a small towel next to the toilet to dry myself. Sometimes a drop of feces gets on the towel and needs to be washed - a learning curve for use; Sometimes it takes longer to clean the stern with water. You just have to be patient and count. . . 15 or 20? and sometimes help with your finger. Sometimes I wish I had less hair on my back. Well, I say only in the interest of fully informing other customers.
