It is very, very cheaply made. Audio quality is very poor and Bluetooth only accepts one connection at a time. So if you're playing music from your home system and want to use the (horrible Chinese) app to change the lights or other functions, you'll need to turn off your audio source first. It has a remote control, but only controls the most basic functions. The lid is cheap plastic, not glass. To lock it, you need to turn it in the same direction as the lamp base detaches from the ceiling. The wiring is not grounded (but maybe it doesn't matter for a low voltage LED?). The color rendering is good and the light is bright. Sometimes it's actually too bright and you can't dim it with the remote control except for the white LEDs. In general this is a good idea, but it takes some work. In its current state, it should cost less than $40.
