I am very satisfied with this dog collar. Battery life when the app is *opened* on a phone drains a bit quickly, but other than that I don't see any downsides. was very upset about this. However, I watched videos online and found that pairing only needs to be done once. I found that all I had to do was turn on the receiver, then turn on the collar and leave them for a few minutes to start it up each time. Today I accidentally went outside with my dogs when the orange light on the receiver came on. I thought no problem. Unfortunately the walk was very long as my English Setter loves to explore the area. The battery died and I lost connection deep in the forest. After trying to find them at their last location, I quickly went home and charged the receiver for 30 minutes, leaving the battery about 10% charged. Then I went back to where I was and found her immediately. An excellent stress reliever.
