While I wouldn't call these high end pumps high end pumps, I had to commend this product. I've owned four Rio pumps over the years and never had a problem. This 1100 has been running 24/7 for almost 5 years and was still running when I removed the tank. Not only that; but it happened in a dirty environment without a single maintenance/cleaning. I usually have to service/clean the pumps at least once a year. I actually bought a replacement two years ago with the expectation that it will fail and the original 1100 will never fail. the replacement is still in the box. Additionally, Rio's customer service was quick and professional in replacing a missing faucet for my recent purchase from Rio. I highly recommend this product for its price.
