I first bought this to use on my 5 year old son to help him recognize letters and numbers. I was given a set of letter and number cards and was about to ask him to use this WikkiStix to create each letter or number at the top of the card. My son had no interest in them but was very interested in building something else with them. I've seen him and his sister make things out of it that I couldn't have imagined. So definitely high scores to encourage creativity! I've had them for weeks now and they're still building stuff with them. However, there are a few downsides. One is cost. I think it's a bit pricey for what they are. The second disadvantage is the fact that hair and fluff stick to it very easily. It usually comes off fairly easily, but is still a bit rough. So definitely not 5 stars. But I think the pros outweigh the cons for them.
