I recently bought a pair of Vans loafers because they were on sale at the store. I was disappointed that the elastic near the tongue was white and didn't match the rest of the shoe. To my surprise, they're much more comfortable than the Vans, and the ribbing near the tongue is the same color as the shoe's fabric. In addition, they cost about one and a half times cheaper. So you can buy 2 pairs for about the same price as 1 pair of Vans.
