Immediately after unpacking, look for damaged or broken connectors.
Unfortunately I had a bad wire from the kit. Why did I still give 5 stars? Because Hinson Motorsports is a world class company. They sent me a replacement the next day. In fact, they even sent me a replacement. Just by luck, the cover ripped during assembly. While I haven't routed these cables yet, I see no reason for further quality concerns.
