Review on Speedball Art Products Calligraphy Ink Set - 10 Color Pigmented Acrylic by Kristen Reid

Beautiful color palette. The actual tray is great for watercolor and ink. The ink itself has very good behavior (slightly more fluid than standard speedball black, so make sure you drop a drop from the pen after dipping) and extremely rich, beautiful colors. The gold is a very yellow shade but the shimmer content is impressive. Banks close well without much chaos. Better than the standard 2 ounce speedball bottle. And they have a wide mouth, which works very well with a slanted feather. You will need a razor blade (or other VERY sharp knife) to remove the inner seal without leaving marks everywhere, but the caps have a different seal as well. The water resistance is excellent. All inks behave very well and wash out very well. All in all a great lettering set. The only problem is you're running out of ink! Definitely a good set to find out which colors you like best, but they all win.
