Review on MOUNT PRO Single Monitor Mount by Laura Mason

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very important! Works well with monitor mounts

I am very familiar with off the shelf monitor mounts which cost 10x more and are better but maybe only 20% better. My only complaint about this hand is the connection to the monitor. A bracket is provided, which you screw to the back of the monitor and then install the monitor onto the bracket. The connection between the mount and arm is loose, even with the screw they use to hold them together. I got creative and made it tighter, so it's ok now. I use it in my office and love it. It is lighter than an off-the-shelf device but has an integrated cable manager. It can leave a mark on an expensive desktop with the clip-on version (if that's what you're worried about), or you can use the through-hole version. for a more personal experience. (You don't need a large hole - one is enough for a standard screw.) If you're not very picky and don't want to pay commercial prices, this is a great alternative.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Pedestal required
