good as long as you don't bend them

They have a cut to bend around the tubes, when I did this the chrome "split" and fell off. I think they should be flagged as inflexible.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Obsolete model

They look best in faucet parts

Plastic not metal so no more ugly rusty covers. Use utility knife to cut and install, easy. As I walked through the house, I was surprised that I had used almost everything in the package.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great Choice: Faucet Parts

Replaced and used all locks in the house AFTER I installed the valves. You simply cut them along the line with a sharp utility knife and then bend them to add a waterline that runs across the wall.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Could have been a newer model

Easy to install and great looking.

Those chrome plastic covers worked great! You carefully cut along the score line and spread it over the 1/2" copper tubing. They look very professional and the best part is they won't rust.

Pros
  • New
Cons

MUCH better than metal

These little rings are amazing. Cheap metal fittings always rust very quickly in a humid bathroom environment. These plastic rings look great, are very easy to install and replace, and will never rust.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Expensive

VER low quality on faucet parts

These are very cheap pipe caps. The chrome is painted so the chrome paint will peel off when you cut the gap (they are not precut). Even with plastic lids, the poor quality did not impress me. I would not recommend them.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Available in white only

Really decent!

Yes, they're plastic, but they actually look like metal from a few feet away (that's the shortest distance most people can get to your check valves). Easy to "install" (set up). As someone pointed out, this seems like a lot, but I've used almost all of them somehow.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Pretty to look at but effortless to install

Purchased for an aesthetic upgrade in my bathroom to cover holes in the wall where the water valves come out of the toilet and sinks. They get the job done, but installation is a huge pain. The result is worth it. Also, the chrome finish scratches too easily.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • No.

Great little aesthetic improvement

We moved into a new house a few years ago and it's winter now and we are concentrating on interior projects. All of the toilets in the house are missing a spot where the plumbing exits the wall (as well as water for the various sinks in the bathroom). I've looked online how to dress them up without removing the pipes etc as it just isn't worth it. Here, cut the shields. 10 for $15. Wasn't prime but arrived quickly (just a few days from California to Maryland). As described, quick assembly and…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Negative gift
