These screws work well with MakerBeam aluminum extrusions. The only criticism is that the screw heads do not snap into place as easily. You must be careful when tightening the parts as the screw head can rotate and eventually pop out of the carrier. But I think it's just a design feature. However, this is especially useful when you need to add a component to your build but don't want to disassemble the build to put a few new screws on the side. You can just leave them in place and add as many things as you need. I recommend tightening the screw by hand before tightening it with a screwdriver. This should prevent the screw from falling out.
